Turning Miles into Tribute: Cycling as a Journey of Healing
They say the road changes a person, and for me, the road was where I found my
strength after the toughest trial I’ve ever faced: the loss of my father. Every time I mount
my bike and cover hundreds of kilometers, I feel as though I am in a silent conversation
with him. I placed the phrase “May God have mercy on my father” at the top of my
profile not as a sad memory, but as a source of energy. Every challenge I face on
mountain biking (MTB) trails or busy Dubai streets is met with the courage and
decisiveness I learned from him. Here, sports transcend physical fitness; it is an act of
“loyalty and tribute,” a way to restore the soul and transform personal pain into
inspiration for every young person facing similar struggles.
